Zhe Chen is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics (DBEI) at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her faculty appointment, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at DBEI, mentored by Dr. Michael Harhey and Dr. Dylan Small. She earned her PhD in Statistics from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her research centers on causal inference methods, including randomization inference, instrumental variables, and stepped wedge designs.
