About
Brian Bayes acts as Data Manager for the PAIR Center, working with investigators to develop data collection and management strategies and transforming large, complex data sets for studies leveraging electronic health records, such as the Randomized Evaluation of Default Access to Palliative Services (REDAPS) Trial.
Before becoming part of the Fostering Improvement in End-of-Life Decision Science (FIELDS) Program in 2015, Brian worked as an analyst on randomized evaluations of social programs at the nonprofit MDRC, as well as a stint in the private sector at a business intelligence firm. His degrees are in physical chemistry from the University of Chicago (M.S.) and Brown University (Sc.B.). When away from his desk, Brian spends his time chasing his kids around the playground (or the living room) and walking the city streets in search of Philly’s best bagels.
