Michael Harhay


Dr. Michael Harhay primarily pursues collaborative and methodological research in clinical trial design, critical care medicine, and transplantation. He is particularly interested in the analysis of clustered and informatively missing longitudinal data. His research has been funded through an F31 and K99/R00 from the NHLBI and an early career award from the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. Michael is very interested in reproducible research and data visualization and teaches several short-courses on the use of statistical software to convey research findings. In addition, Michael is involved in several international collaborations and activities such as serving as an associate editor for the International Journal of Epidemiology and as a statistical editor for the Annals of the American Thoracic Society. He is the author or co-author of over 90 peer-reviewed publications.
