The Complete Integrated Record Using Comprehensive Electronic Data (CIRCE) Project

About

The Complete Integrated Record Using Comprehensive Electronic Data (CIRCE) Project is a ongoing research project at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.

The CIRCE Project provides a clean, research-ready, and up-to-date dataset derived from the electronic health record of Penn Medicine. These data are made available to researchers, operational leaders, and clinicians across Penn’s campus to facilitate collaboration and stimulate innovation.

The CIRCE Project was created by a group of Penn research faculty from the medical and nursing schools. Dr. Gary Weissman is the founding director and Principal Investigator of the CIRCE Project. The CIRCE Project is actively growing and releases new versions of the dataset every six months.
