About
Brian Bayes is the Associate Director of Clinical Research Data Management for the PAIR Center, working with investigators to strategize how to acquire, manage, and prepare high-quality data for their analyses. He leads a team of analysts (the “Data Core”) who support the PAIR Center’s randomized trials of EHR-embedded behavioral interventions, retrospective and prospective cohort studies, and more. He also contributes to the Penn PORTAL program as a member of the Research and Data Analysis Core.
Brian has been with the PAIR Center since its inception, having joined Dr. Halpern’s research program in 2015, and he earned his Master of Biomedical Informatics (MBMI) degree from Penn in 2023. He enjoys living in Philly’s Fishtown neighborhood with his wife, three kids, and two cats, trying to keep everyone out of trouble.
