About
Jenny Tian is a data manager at the PAIR Center. She works with investigators to create analytic files and queries from complex EHR data, develop data collection tools in REDCap and Qualtrics, and manage external data requests with data use agreements. She has had significant data programming experience in R, SQL, SAS and Python, and is certified to query from the UPHS EHR databases. Jenny has supported the data needs of many of the Center’s randomized trials and pilot studies, such as the Healthy Lungs clinical trial, PONDER-ICU, OASIS, STAND etc.
She joined the Center in November 2020 after working as a quantitative analyst on antitrust litigation and merger analyses at NERA Economic Consulting for two years. She received her B.A. in Economics with Honors from the University of Chicago and a graduate certificate in Data Mining and Statistics from Stanford University. She is currently a part-time student in the Master of Computer and Information Technology program at UPenn. Jenny resides in NYC with her husband. In her spare time, she likes to exercise, bake, and stroll in the parks.
