Erich is the Assistant Director of Research Operations for the PAIR Center where he leverages his experience to adeptly manage resources including research staff, space, equipment, and dollars to ensure optimal functioning of the Center.In this capacity, he is at the helm of many hiring and staffing initiatives, steers onboarding processes for new staff members, and provides support and leadership to PAIR’s team of incredible Clinical Research Coordinators.

As someone who is very passionate and committed to providing valuable opportunities for students, particularly those from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine, Erich is also a driving force behind the PAIR Center’s involvement in various student pathway and summer internship programs.

In addition to Center-wide initiatives, he acts as a project manager for federally funded research studies, including retrospective and prospective cohort studies as well as pragmatic clinical trials.
Erich holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Susquehanna University, as well as a Master of Public Health degree and a Master of Bioethics degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in the Passyunk Square neighborhood with his partner where they enjoy some of the best food the city of Philadelphia has to offer.
