Dan Carter

Dan Carter is a project manager with the PAIR Center, working to plan and implement studies with Dr. Joanna Hart’s team.

Dan qualified as an occupational therapist at the University of Limerick, Ireland, and completed his PhD there in 2021. His research was funded by the Irish Health Research Board and focused on developing the evidence base for a digital health intervention to promote participation in physical activity post-stroke. He holds an interest in qualitative research methods.

Originally from New Jersey, Dan returned to the US in 2020. He resides with his wife in Philadelphia. Outside of work, he enjoys running and exploring Philadelphia’s museums and coffee shops.
