Overview

We conducted a survey to assess the probability thresholds of providers for high-risk and hard-to-enroll thoracic heart and lung transplant patient populations. Our survey sought to create a thought experiment to quantify how providers ‘weigh’ probabilities in clinical decision-making around therapeutic options that carry different clinical risk/benefit balances.
