About

Emily is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the PAIR Center where she currently supports the TIME Study, an observational study focusing on the care delivery processes for time-limited trials in acute respiratory failure. As a CRC, her primary responsibilities include screening and recruiting participants as well as conducting ethnographic fieldwork and interviews.

Emily graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022 with a B.A. in Sociology. Prior to PAIR, she worked as a research assistant in the Sociology department, supporting projects which focused on the physical, mental, and financial outcomes of long-term caregiving. She also served as a National Education Equity Lab Teaching Fellow for Grit Lab 101 during the 2022-2023 academic year. In this role, she led weekly recitation sessions for Title I high school students, supporting their success in the classroom and acting as a near-peer role model to help facilitate their enrollment in college.

Outside of work, Emily can typically be found spending quality time with friends and family or doing one of her many hobbies, which include baking, reading, working on crochet projects, and going to concerts for her favorite artists. Emily also loves nature and exploring new places. She hopes to visit many National Parks in the future!
