About
Dr. Ellen Solomon is an internal medicine resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in research that explores and challenges assumptions about the values and experiences of patients navigating serious illness in order to improve the delivery of patient-centered care.
She received a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Princeton University and received her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Following residency, she will serve as a Chief Resident for the Internal Medicine residency program, after which she hopes to pursue fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
She currently lives in the Italian Market with her husband and enjoys urban gardening, jogging along the Delaware River, biking, and visiting her family in the greater Philadelphia area.
