Antonia Angeli Gazola

Antonia Angeli Gazola is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the PAIR Center. She earned her MD from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Brazil, where she contributed to multiple research projects, mainly clinical epidemiological studies in oncology within the PUCRS Oncology Research Group and the Latin American Cooperative Oncology Group. In 2026, she completed a Master’s in Biomedical Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. At the PAIR Center, Antonia supports Dr. Gary Weissman’s Clinical Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CAIML) Lab and Dr. Scott Halpern’s oncology clinical trial.

Antonia is interested in the intersection of medicine and informatics and is eager to deepen her knowledge in this area to integrate her research experience into her intended clinical specialty of internal medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies, swimming, and hiking.
