Antonia Angeli Gazola

Antonia Angeli Gazola is a Master’s student in Biomedical Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine. She earned her MD from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Brazil, where she contributed to multiple research projects, mainly clinical epidemiological studies in oncology within the PUCRS Oncology Research Group and the Latin American Cooperative Oncology Group. At the PAIR Center, Antonia works on Dr. Gary Weissman’s Artificial Intelligence Ventilator Assistant (AVA) Project.

Antonia is interested in the intersection of medicine and informatics and is eager to deepen her knowledge in this area to integrate her research experience into her intended clinical specialty of internal medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies, swimming, and hiking.
