Alexander Ortiz

Alex Ortiz is a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellow working in Dr. Gary Weissman’s lab. He attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the Yale School of Medicine prior to starting fellowship at Penn. His research interests include the role of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the ICU to identify and mitigate health disparities.
