Andrea began working in research at Penn in 2009 in the Department of Psychiatry, and later moved to the Scattergood Program for Applied Ethics of Behavioral Health Care in the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy where she focused primarily on ethical issues surrounding quality and access to behavioral health services. Most recently, Andrea served as a Project Manager for the Cardiovascular Outcomes, Quality, and Evaluative Research (CAVOQER) Center in the Division of General Internal Medicine where she managed a varied health services research portfolio.

Andrea earned a BA in Psychology and Government from Cornell University, an MS in Experimental Psychology from Drexel University, and her MPH from the University of Pennsylvania. Her overarching research interests include: research methods and study design; improving long-term outcomes for individuals with advanced illness and serious mental illness; and improving quality, access, and delivery of care for these vulnerable populations.
