Brigit is a Clinical Research Coordinator in Dr. Courtright’s lab at PAIR where she supports the Palliative Connect and COMPASS-PC trials.
Brigit is driven by her desire to develop patient-centered care methods and is passionate about bridging care gaps in critical care, pediatrics, and women’s health. She recently graduated with a B.S in Neuroscience and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. During her time as an undergraduate student, Brigit investigated the efficacy of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) in pediatric patients with non-accidental trauma-induced epilepsy. Additionally, Brigit was also a research assistant and social media manager for the GLOWHER Collective, where she played an integral role in multiple research projects that utilized visual and participatory creative methods in the fields of mental health and menstrual equity. She also actively promoted diversity efforts on campus in her various leadership roles in the South Asian Student Association and Women in Healthcare.
During her free time, Brigit enjoys exploring new restaurants in Philly and spending time with family and friends.
