Johns Hopkins University Hopkins Business of Health Initiative presents:

Can Academic Health Systems be Learning Health Systems?

While academic health systems and academic medical centers (AMCs) have the resources and expertise to be effective learning health systems, there are misaligned incentives that lessen the impact of clinicians, researchers, and operations teams working in these settings. By aligning goals across research, teaching, and clinical operations, AMCs could more effectively integrate research into practice. This webinar includes expert discussion about how academic health systems may better realize their potential as learning health systems.
