Members of the PAIR Center attended the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) National Seminar from September 15-17, here in Philadelphia!

Clinical Research Coordinator Yazmeen Ahmad presented: “A feasibility study of hospital-wide CAPC training for primary palliative care.” This poster shared the initial findings from the feasibility face of the COMPASS-PC trial.

Yazmeen was joined by the Engagement Co-Leads for the COMPASS-PC trial: Bethany Sewell, Program Manager at the PAIR Center, and Rebecca Kirch, Executive Vice President of Policy and Programs at the National Patient Advocate Foundation and member of the PAIR Center’s External Advisory Board. The event provided a great opportunity to reconnect with leaders across the palliative care space, including many additional advisors and partners on our research.

Photo of signs at the CAPC National Seminar that read 'In your current role, what brings you joy?" With responses: "Feeling satisfied at the end of the day that I have provided a service that changed a life." "Mentoring and growing our team to help them reach their career goals." "Being able to see when a difference is made in a patient or loved one's experience."
