The Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics (CHIBE)

 

The Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics (CHIBE) at the Leonard Davis Institute led by PAIR affiliated faculty Kevin Volpp applies principles from behavioral economics to reduce the disease burden from major U.S. public health problems and improve health and healthy behavior. Together with the PAIR Center, CHIBE supports the work of the Fostering Improvement in End-of-Life Decision Science Program

The NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health

 

The NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health is led by Director and PAIR affiliated faculty, Mary Naylor, PhD, FAAN, RN at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. In collaboration with PAIR Center faculty, interdisciplinary and nurse researchers from the NewCourtland Center will bring to bear scholarship in evidence-based approaches to transitional health and health care to grow the science of interventions targeting seriously ill patients receiving intensive and palliative healthcare services

The Penn Center for Perioperative Outcomes Research and Transformation (CPORT)

 

The Penn Center for Perioperative Outcomes Research and Transformation (CPORT) focuses on improving the health and well-being of patients undergoing surgery, critical care, and pain treatment through high-quality comparative effectiveness research and implementation science. Located within the Perelman School of Medicine’s Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, CPORT brings together investigators from a wide range of disciplines to tackle questions of pressing importance to clinical care and health policy.

 Penn Implementation Science Center (PISCE) @ LDI

 

Led by PAIR affiliated faculty Rinad Beidas, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Ethics & Health Policy, the Penn Implementation Science Center (PISCE) @ LDI is focused on advancing the science of implementation and training the next generation of implementation researchers. A core priority of PISCE@LDI is to bridge the gap between evidence and practice. PAIR Center faculty partner with PISCE@LDI on a number of programmatic offerings, including grant-funded projects, an education program, an annual Implementation Science Institute, and bi-monthly works in progress meetings.
