Dr. Stephens-Shields is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics. Her research focuses on clinical trials, clustered and longitudinal data analysis, and causal inference. Her current collaborations include the Testosterone Trials, the Multidisciplinary Approach to the study of Chronic Pelvic Pain Network, and several trials to evaluate the effect of financial incentives in increasing adherence and research participation. Dr. Stephens-Shields holds Ph.D. and A.M. degrees in biostatistics from Harvard University and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
