Nancy A. Hodgson

Biography

Dr. Hodgson applies a biosocial-ecological perspective in translating, disseminating, and implementing proven programs for delivery in diverse practice settings. Currently, she leads two NIH funded clinical trials that are evaluating implementation approaches to reduce behavioral and psychological symptoms of distress for those living with dementia in the home and community. In addition Dr Hodgson is completing a pilot study funded by the Penn Roybal Center on Palliative Care in Dementia that is testing an advanced care planning platform for nursing home residents with dementia.

 

Dr. Hodgson serves on the executive committee on the NIA-funded IMbedded Pragmatic AD/ADRD Clinical Trials (IMPACT) Collaboratory Dissemination and Implementation Core, and on the Pennsylvania Long Term Care Council. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and the Gerontological Society of America.
