On October 21, Dr. Joanna Hart presented as part of the Plenary Session for the 2025 PCORI Annual Meeting!
This Plenary Session was titled, “Addressing Chronic Conditions in Rural America: Research in Action,” and featured Dr. Hart’s expertise in rural health, including her work on the PCORI-funded study: Comparing Smoking Cessation Interventions Among Underserved Patients Referred for Lung Cancer Screening (Healthy Lungs).
After the Annual Meeting, PCORI hosted their third annual Science Fair! The Science Fair connects Congressional staff and other health policy professionals with PCORI-funded researchers to discuss their projects. Dr. Hart shared more information about Healthy Lungs.
