About
Elizabeth (Beth) Cooney-Zingman acts as Chief of Staff for the PAIR center, providing broad administrative and operational leadership for our talented and growing team.
Beth joined Dr. Halpern’s team in January 2011 as a project manager and helped launch the Fostering Improvement in End-of-Life Decision Science (FIELDS) Program in 2012 as its Assistant Director. She worked with Dr. Halpern and others to establish the PAIR Center in 2017. Building the PAIR Center’s research infrastructure and growing the PAIR Center team has been the most rewarding experience of her career. Prior to joining Penn, she was the Product Manager of MyStudentBody.com, a health promotion and education program for colleges and universities.
She has a Master of Public Health degree from the Boston University School of Public Health and an undergraduate degree in Health Studies from Georgetown University.
Beth lives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with her husband and two young sons.
